Calgary River Valleys offers opportunities for citizen involvement in a variety of initiatives.  Without the support of citizens like you, we couldn’t do what we do.  Why don’t you become a member — it’s currently free — (or just join our contact list if you’d prefer) to learn more about ongoing opportunities that are of interest to you? Please also consider making a donation to our organization, as donations help to ensure we can continue to do this important work.

CRV Committees

Watershed Policy and Planning involves providing comment to City administration regarding planning and development initiatives within the city. The Committee also participates as a stakeholder in the development of environmental policy and provides a platform for public participation in these areas.

Education, Communication and Outreach focuses on sharing information on river valleys, riparian areas, biodiversity and stewardship initiatives.

You do not need to join a committee to participate in many committee initiatives. Opportunities for public involvement will be posted on our Events Page, Twitter and Facebook.
